Thinking about the lecture given by Mairi and incorporating physical spaces into the virtual world I have been researching into important women in Liverpool, and the physical spaces that they have impacted. Incorporating this research into the project that I am developing and other research that I have undertaken last semester into women artists, I think that it is important to highlight the works of women and important achievements as these continually go under recognised. Linking this to the physical space of Liverpool, as Mairi had spoken about in engaging those who may not had previously engaged with the arts or those who may not know about the important women that have been significant in the city. In taking this further I hope to be able to speak with Mairi and get some insight into her decision that went into the project and the feedback that she had especially with the engagement with the physical world.
